Two Masters of the Art of Film Animation:

Mariusz "Wilk" Wilczynski from Poland
& Andreas Hykade from Germany
 

"An Evening with Andreas Hykade and Mariusz Wilczynski", two of the most inventive animation filmmakers working today, is presented by MoMA in its series MediaScope, which offers a look at innovative work in film, video, Web-based, installation, and digital art practices, as well as a chance to hear the artists discuss their work.

The concert is a fundraising event to help the composer cover the expenses of attending the prestigious summer session of the American Conservatory at Fontainebleau, France for which he was selected this year. Iwanek got a substantial scholarship to attend this renowned program.

Joschka Fischer Foreign Minister and Vice Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany (1998-2005)

Joschka Fischer was Germany's Foreign Minister and Vice Chancellor in the government of Gerhard Schröder from 1998 to 2005. A leader in the Green Party for nearly 20 years, he is one of Europe's leading political thinkers. Since September 2006 he has been visiting professor at Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
